Wooohhh... idk why, but besides feeling happy seeing MC getting closer with Chokki-chan, which is incredibly wholesome :meguu: Btw, for some reason, something still feels a bit off about this chapter.

when chokki hugged shun from the back, you bet your ass I held my hands in prayer to thank the lord for the blessing that is this chapter, even got that kanye west "God Is" song automatically playing in my head 🙏

this is like up there with chapter 17, with shun crying then hugging chokki, chapter 22, with shun putting his and chokki's hands in his jacket pocket to stay warm (with bonus interlocking fingers), chapter 26, where shun made chokki blush with his rizz, chapter 44, with chokki between shun's thighs and...flirting, if i can even call something as lewd as that only flirting :smug:

This is dumb, he is dumb.

Way to show you have zero faith in your connection that just exchanging contact info relegates you to the same status as everyone else. I guess literally everything that has happened up until this point means absolutely nothing and your bond is so fragile that exchanging contact information is enough to break it.

EDIT: I’ve backtracked on this comment a little after further discussion later in the thread. I still believe they should have exchanged contact info, but I get why they didn’t.

It makes sense really.

He knows that they have a finite amount of time where they can just be kids and have the romance like they talk about.

At some point they'll have to become adults and do the mundane things. It gets harder to live in the moment and capture the romance when you have bills to pay and a job to be overworked at.

They've got all the time in the world to send texts. They've only got a little more time left to live (mostly) carefree.
