Wow the end of this chapter was actually super infuriating. I had a feeling it was gonna go down this way because Misaki gave me bad vibes right from the start, but it went south REAL quick. And I unfortunately can't imagine her getting her comeuppance seeing as Rei is in another world now.

With that said, Katano is really cute, sharp teeth will always be a weakness of mine when it comes to character design.

Man that's some bullshit, sure some people like that are overcompensating for what they're hiding, but certainly not all, probably not the vast majority. The way she was tearing into otakus too, you think she's secretly one of those too? How about anything else she hates? It's groundless nonsense.

The fact she was apparently watching her house is a bit suspicious, but by no means are most people that hate gay people actually gay, it's mostly fear of those different from norms, and the result of lots of propaganda selling those different as somehow dangerous.

A lot of that is a matter of scapegoating to always have someone to pit political followers against, since it's easier to get people to rally under a banner against something else. Suburbs are built on the entire premise of keeping people isolated from those unlike them so they'll be less understanding and more easily afraid to these ends.

To wave everything off as 'they're actually gay' is downright heinous. Some gay people do evil things, even against each other, but no most of it isn't just the fault of closet cases.
