Doing the "I was worried I'd wake up back in my last life" after the first night thing... almost feels like the author got bored with their own story.

Watch as MC merely passed out from exhaustion/being emotionally overwhelmed or something and he was in the past all along and this scene with him back at work is the actual dream.
