Horses can run on ice without skates?

Depends on a few things. Standard horseshoes aren't great for ice/snow, bare hoof is pretty decent for traction on ice, and there are studded horseshoes designed for working on ice. Given Miyabi's crafting ability I'm willing to believe he can handle making/altering the appropriate gear.

Miyabi either won’t be asked to join or will refuse. There’s no benefit for him to join a high ranked/established party. He has a “trash” occupation so the only way he can get any recognition is to grow his reputation with unremarkable people otherwise he’s “just leeching”.

And their reliable, so if they want you to join them, and you know you will be depended on, even if it isn't for what you perceive as great, you know they perceive it as great, so what's the loss? you're valued.

We've seen how much they enjoy his skills, and how useful it is to them. So I doubt they would be the type of party to not value MC, although they will tease him cause they're foster parents of the girl.

Except quite literally anyone who has spent any amount of time with him realize how huge an asset he is in the supporting role. Liz's success rate and even the difficulty of quest she's completed have skyrocketed since she joined with Miyabi and even high ranked adventurers and a noble can back him considering he is basically a portable villa and resource extractor.
If word got out about his abilities, there are nobles and adventurers who would give money hand over fist to have a deployable inn that fulfill their specifications wherever and whenever they wanted it.

Also he wouldn't be "In their shadow" because his role is fundamentally different... he is a crafter, not a warrior.

So he should party up with those who make up where he lacks and in return he makes up for what they lack. (and if you remember, this S rank party, has been loving having MC around, because they do be lacking heavily in what MC can provide).

Friends help you shine, so staying with them isn't a bad thing. What is bad is when they do overshadow you intentionally, instead of helping to lift you up.

Lone wolf is for those who want to die alone as failures, you can never do more as a single person than you can do as a team of decent people.

MC is being way too passive. The party's complaining about there not being enough space next to the lake and a fighter has to spend time making a rock cover, while MC has tons of dirt and stone sitting in the inventory. Or better yet, he could've just built hardened tunnel walls and ceiling around the carriage and kept on digging straight.

I don't see how joining Red Cliff would benefit Miyabi. When teaming up with Liz alone, you might say he's in an equal position, even if he insists Liz is the one deserving all the praise (in his disgustingly phoney, boot-licking Japanese salaryman manner). But in practice their relationship is equal. Even in fights Miyabi's weird power has played a huge role. Liz has always been more than willing to pick simple resource gathering quests knowing it benefits Miyabi. So, even if he insists he's nothing but a support member, in reality they are equal. How would that work with the long-established A rank team of Red Cliff? Nah, forget it. They would fully enjoy Miyabi's extraordinary services, but he would truly be nothing but a support member in their group. They don't personally like him either, in particular. They only love Liz.

I really don't see Liz leaving Miyabi behind to join Red Cliff, either. She wouldn't feel equal at all in their company, whereas in Miyabi's company she often does, even if she still has her moments of inferiority complex. Who knows if she's in love with him or not, but I reckon she must like him as a very good friend and ally, if nothing else.

All that being said, Miyabi has got his unfortunate doormat mentality, so I wouldn't call him joining Red Cliff impossible.
