Well, what an abrupt ending imo. Last 2-3 chapters felt incredibly anti-climactic, what a shame.

I'm starting to feel like I'm the only one who liked the ending.

Starting and ending, get it? Hehe, heh, heh... minor wordplay... yeah...

Abrupt ending indeed, Personally I would have at least liked a more conclusive ending romance-wise at least. Like, they really verbalised their feelings or something. And I think it would have been fun with a side story about their respective best friends confessing or the like.

Thanks for all the hard work scanlating this!

@otakhu If it got cancelled, judging by the final volume the mangaka knew at least about a year in advance, so she would've had time to change it if she'd been aiming for another kind of ending. That's my logic, anyway.

@Lioness94 They did verbalize their feelings pretty strongly, albeit in that weird way of theirs xD. It was very consistent with how their characters have been and their growth though, I thought. Just my two cents. Thanks for reading!

That was axe-kun fault, right? No fucking way this was a 'proper' ending lol I really hate this type of rom-com ¬¬

I'm sure people will just love to complain about the sudden ending, but in my own humble opinion, this ending is just fine. It fits the manga, the story has been pretty generic fluffy romance so far anyway. As a writer, it's a much better decision to just end the story when and how you want instead of dragging it out while you run out of ideas. Just be happy the series didn't introduce unnecessary characters and love triangles just to draw out the runtime. When a good series ends people will always scream for more thinking that that's what they want.

Tl;dr: Ending's fine, deal with it!

I liked this ending, could it have been better? Probably, but I like how it is.

@YakoSWAG Ooh a buddy. I agree, the ending fit the manga, their characterizations remained remarkably consistent (in Japanese anyway, sometimes I feel like I'm just flailing about when I translate), and a bookend type is as good an ending trope as any.

@justforthelulz I ship 'em.
