It's basically conforming the existence of 'goddess' entity who appears when our mc got poisoned in the past chapter and how his communication with her is undetected as they communicating using her 'magic'.

I think it's because he's operating under the influence of something external to their entire logic matrix, so course correction would be to act within their logic matrix. I.e. suggesting he act within expected parameters (textbook/ guideline officer manual stuff) instead of choosing to do actions influenced by what the A.I. assumes to be due to the interaction of the poison and by extension the goddess entity's supposed influence.

Iris believe Alan is under some influence that might be part of the reason he feels so compelled to do this negotiation in person.
(the tl;dr on that negotiation itself seems to be Alan trying to turn the shadow guild from prime minister side)
Specifically when the poisoning attempt at the party happened, nanom's attempt at breaking down the toxin left some kind of traces that formed an 'interface' of sort.
This interface has shown traces/signs of being accessed, with similar 'magic signature' as when Cleria prayed to the goddess.
EDIT: Took a bit of digging back, but it's ch 39 if anyone want to see the moment it happened (the 'goddess' even mentioned accessing him)
+ we have the previous prime minister to potentially be the key to turning the guild against the current one.

Just observe all the targets and when they are about to move, calculate possible trajectory in real time. A bullet moves faster than the knife. True it's highly precise calculation and currently rather complicated to do, but not really impossible. Take a look at AGM-114R9X Hellfire called also a Ninja missile which is capable of striking and killing a single person in a car without killing anyone else or causing much other collateral damage.
Even I myself while playing FPS was capable of predicting where my opponent's bullets will land and where I should move to avoid most of them by observing his barrel's orientation and listening to the gun shots while moving in closer for a ninja knife attack. I had a feeling if it was a game like Gun Gale Online I would be able to use my knives or a sword to just bounce off the bullets without any assist system or whatsoever, but unfortunately the game didn't feature such functionality (no there wasn't pan either as it wasn't pugb)

Yep, and he gonna use it later to save his own civ unless there is some plot twist and he deemed as rogue by his country/organization and suddenly intergalactic war or something

kinda sucks that he just shrugged the reason off why he's being unreasonably impulsive but i think that also implies that he is IN FACT hypnotized so i hope we'll see a "fuck around and find out" moment from him considering the last panel suggests that iris MIGHT stage a coup because mc is basically compromised.

48.1 was released in March and 48.2 in April and 49.1 dropped yesterday so it's not like they're bread crumbing the chapters like some other groups do.

On one hand it's neat to have story progression since the author stopped writing the WN just after the prison break chapter; on the other hand this almost feels like this version of the story is written completely with cliff notes.

to play devil's advocate on this, you could argue that it's consistent for him to take that stance. He's been operating outside of standard procedures since he got here and may be court martialed if he ever gets back. At the same time, his response to it could also be in line with his thought process.
"There's a problem with my condition/influences? Does it interfere with the mission? No? Then it can wait."

tbh i just based my argument on iris statement. my memory of past chapters are pretty much hazy considering the upload schedule is pretty wonky here in md
but, the issue here is that unlike the bandit annihilation, that could easily be regarded as a show but him going around in shady places doing shady things is the "impulsive act" and him not yielding is being "unreasonable" part like literally the point is that he doesn't really need to be there since there's no audience to showoff and that's what iris is bitching about and i support her 100% only because she's a gyatt and a milf and i-
