I don't understand why everyone hates her to such an extent, I get that Lamia isn't being very rational right now but from her perspective, Aquila is the guy who mangled her brother and then seemingly acts overly chummy with her and shows no remorse for what he did to her brother. It's not unreasonable that she is making emotional decisions based on her brother and Aquila's peculiar behaviour

Well, if I was Lamia and saw how powerful this 2nd prince was, I woud not want to make him my enemy. Or at least get close to him to find his weakness. Just can't see how this gonna end well, everything go in the wrong direction.. But maybe that was writer's intention to create suspense

Idk why people hate lamia....like I know she she's acting emotional and all but in the end she's human too. Also the brother has definitely trauma because of Aquila
No one with the right mind would find someone trustworthy who cripples their family member even if they say they protect you and act like a puppy
Tbh I don't sympathise anyone in the story, they're all too flawed and too complex

I think the majority of people either dislike or don’t feel any real empathy with the main characters is cause they “feel” off. I can’t quite place my finger on it either but from the way the story is told, I just can’t seem to get invested in the characters. They’re lacking some kind of charisma or they act in ways that seem to just frustrate us more and more.

There isn’t a villain yet for us to focus our negative energies on so when there’s tension in the plot, we’re bouncing round disliking Lamia, or Aquila, or Uri. It’s always, why is Lamia doing this or Aquila reacting like that etc. It makes it hard to root for our heroes. Maybe this is setup for what comes later but it’s already been 31 chapters.

The premise is good, and that’s what interested me initially. And I’ll keep reading it to see where it goes but I’m finding it hard to really empathise on an emotional level with the characters.

I just don’t really like that they would do something that would threaten to split up the territory and cause dissonance with the people in order to get revenge or whatev. Lamia is said to be this super rational and smart person with leadership skills who is supposed to be a perfect heir and yet most of what we’ve seen is shoujo tier plotting. I don’t take issues with her distrusting the dude who crippled her sibling lol.
