she wants to know, because one of the things that are moving her still is understand why his son had to die. She tried to be in their shoes to learn if they did that because they were taught to be like that or if they actually wanted to be POS that didn't care about other people, her not killing other people besides that group and helping the girl from being raped are events that are keeping her alive as we already know she wants to end it all but she wants to send them to hell before going to his son. (which unlike jujika has been more enjoyable)
I also cant even blame Maria i mean
we saw it at the start
she saw him die in front of him
she found the Evidence of them been bullies

and as readers we know if he didn't die there, they were probably gonna target the mom too to bully the shit of Maria's son, which is another thing to make the dad a bigger mess of a useless cop.

Even then, I don't think they actually mean it.

I explain: most Isekai are wish-fulfillment fantasies for the stereotypical japanese otaku (dunno the actual reality, but Isekai general success doesn't deny allegations). You probably know the stereotype with otakus (or geeks in general) and love/sex, so let's not stop there. Now how are you gonna make a purposely designed waifu to NOT refuse the "reader's stand-in" MC at first opportunity so the engagement continues?
Simple: make her unable to for whatever reason, and the most appealing is slavery. And as usual for an isekai story, their actual research and handling of such a heavy topic is... lacking.
I remember reading explanation that this trope is used because isekai MC can't trust anyone in his new, unknown world, so magically bound slave is his best option, despite so many fantasy stories starting with two characters meeting as strangers in dangerous world where naive trust can kill, that are forced by the plot to work together and slowly become loyal friends.

One of better written isekai I've read even uses classic trope of "MC isekaied into dangerous world, saves a girl, gets really hurt so girl saves him back and nurses him", bam, they now can both trust each other. But it seems many people want their isekai MC to be selfish and calculating, not some "goody two-shoes that doesn't fuck his harem", so they prefer him buying sex slave and immediately fucking her with dubious consenst, rather then have normally developing love interest that can function like equal partner, like for example even Asuna from Sword Art Online (ignoring second arc).

But there is that the slavery card is played even in isekai where the MC has next to zero trust issues, already trustworthy companions and no need for him to go for slavery save "because author says so". Ex.: Isekai Walking.

And yes, there are THOUSANDS of ways and plot hooks to make an isekaid'd MC gain a trusted female companion/waifu. They just don't care or think the readers won't be interested, neither of them is a good sign.

I don't htink that's truly the case. There are dozens of Isekais where the MC doesn't touch his slave harem, edgelord or no (Naofumi, Diablo). But in those cases I think it's more to showcase the "benevolence and purity" of the isekaid'd MC. Which is insincere and despicable AF by itself, it´s like asking for thanks just because you didn't kill a stray puppy this week.

Hell, just doing ANYTHING sexual to a confirmed slave is considered rape in many IRL countries. Not to mention the already serious topic it is by default. But as with many things in isekai, authors apparently doesn't do a single speck of research which is rather problematic in a topic such as this one.

Naaahhhh nah nah nah I don't want him to die here, he still thinks Okaya is a friend who cares about him. Ain't no way the rapist asshole gets more emotional closure in death than the girl who got eaten alive by bugs. I won't stand for it.

Not enough damage considering is a freaking chainsaw, just a few fingers and the dong? I was expecting some limbs flying too, but I guess this is supposed to be a shonen... At least it seems he's dead at last

Seems like the translation for CH 32 is delayed. I can see the raw is out, but not the translation. Hope everything is going okay.

Finally, a pathetic showing from gyaru-oh Rasputin. So this confirms that his Achilles tendons weren't actually cut before (no freaking way he regenerated that) but now we know it is. Shooting with bolts? Didn't work. Explosion to the face? Didn't work. Projectiles to the knee? Didn't work. Electric shock? Didn't work. OK, chainsaw it is.

Wow, that was his pelvis on page 5 cracking. So that was Maria's answer to his violent rape threat. His dick was no match for her chainsaw's fast and furious action, his lower body penetrated by it's thick and violent length. He wanted penetration? He got his wish, and more.

Live by brutality, die by brutality. Kinugawa was the most brutal and violent character in this story so far, and his death had the brutal violence to match. Fitting. And yeah, I don't believe sending him to juvie or even adult prison would have reformed him, he was already evil from childhood and he died unrepentant. A demon from start to finish. And he wasn't even an adult yet!
