@nfzeta Did you not read the chapter? He can only handle the stat boosts from absorbing because he worked ridiculously hard. His "Gift of Training" is why he can use his other skill safely, and was earned when he worked his ass off to be acknowledged by his 'father'.

That's just author talk for he put in the "effort". Trust me, it has nothing to do with overspeccing a character. Like bloodlines in Naruto or being the literal reincarnations of demi-gods or w.e. Always look at explanations as if they're there to justify the BS they write.
