@OsisNie , like you, I'm not devastated it's over. It was odd to say the least, but not "terrible" from an objective standpoint (I think most of have easily read far worse). I can however say that it's unsurprising it didn't garner a large following; while it used a lot of the standard cliches, it interconnected them in very non typical ways. I don't regret reading it. As far as the ending goes, as bizarre as it often was, I think a non-ending was always going to be the result no matter the length. Perhaps out of morbid fascination I would've enjoyed more, but its a shrug rather than frustration.

As ever, thank you for carrying this one through, and all the other ceaseless work you put in.

Thanks to the Typesetting team for the great work!

I really loved this adaptation due to its cringey, awkward and cliched story. One would say someone's trash might just be good enough for others, and this is probably one of those relatively trash stories.

You can really feel the rush as it's getting axed, the way everything ended but yeah, it pretty much ended with a cliche in some way. But still, this was a fun read mostly.

The ending we need but not the one we deserves.

it's unfair to say that nothing really happened in this manga since all three MCs did change bit by bit and got some character development, but from the start i personally thought that the manga felt like it didn't know which direction to head toward, and throughout the manga it still felt like that. it only got interesting in the latter third of its run when koiwai decided to step out of her comfort zone and be a bit more active and assertive rather than just staying as a reader of the stories of the people around her.

It's a decent ending, but definitely felt the axe.

At least it wasn't another series that ended with the fireworks ending.

Fuck the fireworks ending. The most cowardly one.

To be honest, I can relate to the no direction of this story in the beginning part, because my highschool was somehow similar, without any proper directions and just having fun here and there while living like a student. It's somehow similar until the time where our MC wanted to take a step forward. While he succeed, I failed. My point is, I feel bad that it got axed when it feels like they are about to take a bigger steps for themselves. It feels like the characters got denied any chance to move forward... :qq:

I'm sad. We don't see how Hinaki, Koiwai, and Shunsuke grow as friends more. We see that they finally accept the strange situation they're in! That none of them want each other to feel alone!

A slumber party would have been an amazing way to see more personal issues ironed out between Koiwai and Hinaki. And it would allow Shunsuke to be more comfortable with everything's that has has happened.

But we only see the end result is that. Oh I wish there were more adventures between the three of them! But alas, this is where it ends.

I'll miss Hinaki, Koiwai, and Shunsuke! They were cute, and their strange relationship was compelling. Thank you @OsisNie for scanlations this series! And thank you, 9°C, for creating it!
