Come on, a war? You're going to let something as minor and inconsequential as that delay my divine right to read manga for free? Shame on you! Seriously, though, as my avatar may imply, I have some opinions about at least a certain war.
For being supposedly a different world, the language feels distinctly Japanese.
I think they're all on board about her being the second wife, just a matter of settling all costs and negotiations for it.
Can certainly see why it would put her at ease for several reasons that he's protected.
Never has someone stepped into a carriage as dignified as Lucrezia.
Ask for advice from a senior researcher, advice you shall have, whether you like it or not.

Man this guy got duped so hard by this whole deal. He was supposed to just be able to hang out in his room and relax and bang his hot wife, and now he's having to suffer through all these trials and BS. And he's such a pushover he just kinda goes along for the ride.

He mostly volunteer for this work, he was felling guilty having his wife (who he grown to love) pushing herself while he did nothing, it kinda just barrel-rolled into all this diplomatic responsibilities

Yeah because the responsible thing to do is to let your pregnant wife take care of everything on her own, a man should never strife for a better country and a better future for his kids no matter what. Also soil her reputation while you're at it and make sure you don't support her in any way, just fuck her every now and then.

Yo, I get that he's being a responsible adult, but this wasn't what the deal he agreed to was supposed to be, and if she actually had any intention to hold up her part of the deal she could have chosen to, but didn't. I'm not saying he's a bad person for doing what he needed to for his new family, or that she's a terrible person for putting the needs of her family and her country first. It's just that they basically lied to tricked him, because she no doubt was smart enough to know going into this whole thing that she would never be able to really hold up her end of the bargain. So the entire premise of their relationship and how is started was founded on what was ultimately a lie and manipulation.
Isn't your comment already being addressed in the past chapter of the story? Need me to retell it? On second thought, i am lazy to tell you. I would just leave this comment here
Let's look at it this way: the initial agreement was to make his position known that he would rather not get into all the political affairs if he CAN help it. It wasn't exactly a business deal, nobody getting screwed over this.
His wife would be perfectly content with him not doing anything. Sure, her opinion of him might lower, but she wasn't going to force him.
Now the problem is that he CAN'T help wanting to share his wife's burden. He WANT to do this, as long as it's not going against his principle, and THAT is what matters.
Well, unless his principle was to be as human waste as possible, then sure you could say that he was being manipulated and lied to.

Aura has already apologized for this, she intended to let him have this lazy life and didn't mean for things to get out of hand, but he never believed that he'd be able to have that in the first place. He knew his position as prince-consort is too high ranking that he couldn't possibly get away with doing nothing and always expected things to kinda go this way. On top of that if it was ever anything that he was truly against he will absolutely discuss it with Aura when they're alone, like when he set boundaries about needing tools to keep him safe before he agreed to travel to the Northern continent.

Added to that, it's not like Aura would have had previous husbands (let alone under as bizarre circumstances as this) and would have experienced all of this before. She simply couldn't have imagined everything that might happen beforehand. Like a princess from a totally different continent arriving and the possibility of a war between continents appearing. Maybe it's naive, but I believe in the beginning Aura was genuinely sure Zenjirou wouldn't need to be doing anything near as much as he has been doing of late.

I forgot how the teleportation ability works. Does he need a special room at the origin and at the destination? Or can he do it at will as long as he's been to a location before? I'm wondering if he can teleport away from the ship in an emergency, or go back and forth to resupply the ship. I also forgot if he intended to be able to teleport back from the other country after the meeting is done, or if he has to ride the ship back home.
She also didn’t know that Zenjirou carried two bloodline magics (even if Enchanting is dormant and he can’t use it himself), which was one of the early wrenches thrown in her plans.
He needs to visualize a location to teleport to it. Though he currently sucks at that so he takes pictures on a digital camera and looks at the picture. Aura can teleport without the pictures. Having a prepared room where nothing changes makes it easier but isn’t required.
I’m pretty sure Aura also brought up that this trip would be valuable because it would enable them to teleport back and forth to Freya’s kingdom like they currently can with the Twin Kingdoms.
