she'd def have to change her identity if not reapply and maybe the gov 'investigating' her but even with something unexplained idk if it'd get too heavy into lore stuff unless some other ppl had the same situation happen to them but this story is prolly more self contained as an interpersonal romanceSo she's living as an adult as far as paperwork goes, but is obviously a teenager. But her circle of people is a triangle so it's not come under any real scrutiny. She can't go to regular high school with her age as it is. I was wondering how they were passing her in the system legally, but I guess she was just off the grid a few years and then back on the grid as far as the world cares.
It's really sad to be tethered to one person who seems to have paused her life for years while watching the other person living the life you had expected for yourself. There's always bowling at least.
well it is called how to break a triangle so at least one person would get heartbroken at the end of itWhat's with all this foreshadowing😭
As far as the government is concerned, she's back and that closes her case. Legally she's an adult and no one would believe the absurdity of her not aging one day in seven years. Aya doesn't know "where she was" and didn't point out to any crime being committed. Even if some cop gave a shit, they have no case.thanks for the chapter! we're slowly (very slowly) getting somewhere about the girls' relationships. Personally I root for Erika to move on (preferably with me), Koto and Aya can sort their problems out alone.
anw, real fucking question on the legality of Aya's identity here, how the fuck does the government just ignore her like this? She disappeared for 7 YEARS, not days, not months but freaking years! She hadn't even graduated highschool yet, her family members are all dead (does she not inherit anything? or does disappearing for 7 years make her unable to inherit anything?), why is there no authority figure here doing something about her situation?
I understand that for the first few chapters, we can just ignore that to move on with some plot, but it's been 11 chapters and Aya has been living with Koto for a while (in an apartment that Koto's renting, do they just let her live there without any paperwork??), something should have been done by now.
if the story somehow ends with this all being a supernatural thing, I'll be super disappointed because that's such an easy way out.
