Rio seems like she's just bored with her picturesque life, and Rei provided some excitement. Actually, I think I want to see the "Everyone is forgiven but Rei" Route happen because it would be hilarious if all of Mahoro's friends are adulterers/attempted adulterers while she divorces her husband over it.
