Words fail to accurately describe how much I dislike Asahi.

Generic "I'll take over the world."-villains, I can take. Tragic backstories, good intentions, sure, why not. But for some reason I cannot accurately express, Asahi makes me hate her on a entirely new level. The way she just waltzes through life without much effort due to her charm magic just ticks me off something fierce. And then she latches on to the one person that is able to tell her "No!" as if said person is an error in her perfect little world that either needs to be "corrected" or chased far far away. It's a testament to Ruri's strength of spirit that she has come this far in life without slaughtering Asahi with a butcher knife in public while laughing like a madwoman. I know I would have done so, long ago.

If Ruri cannot break through to Asahi or if Asahi is truly unwilling to accept that the world she has been living in is a big fat illusion brought about by her charm magic, I'd say that she is better of dead. In that case she'd be too dangerous to let live.

You're misremembering when it happens, the manga is following the LN.

the reveal doesn't happen in this chapter, it happens after the whole incident with Asahi is over (not immediately though, she goes to stay at Chelsie's for a few days before she's forced to reveal it by Ewan) and she's been shipped off to the farm. When she meets with Asahi while telling her off after her recapture, she does it in secret, so no one knows, as Joshua sneaks her in as a cat and she leaves as a cat, and for some reason Asahi doesn't tell anyone.

The reveal happens some time, like days or weeks, after the business with Asahi is over, since there's exposition time and there' still the chapter where Ruri goes to stay for a few days at Chelsie's cabin before the reveal since Jade and the others went on a diplomatic trip abroad, if you remember, so the manga is right - it's still at least two chapters away, depending on how much they'll pace the novel chapters (and omit/keep them).
