since it was brought up in two consecutive chapters, i'm guessing the author is really doubling down on ending the series. kinda sad to see it go if it's true. i just REALLY hope daisuke actually chooses someone and all this build up doesn't go up in smoke and he says shit like "i hope we can get all along in the future as friends" or "i just can't choose anyone."
