@Psychronia there was a way to nip it in the bud. annul the marriage. if the king had just done this then there would have been no reason to start a civil war and the factions behind it would have calmed down.

@wilddeath You say that, but the nobles were already scheming to the point of preparing for a rebellion. Plus, if that's what she wanted, you'd think she could explain it in a less roundabout way.
Anyway, annulling the marriage is certainly an option, but considering how many shady dealings were already brewing in the background, it's less nipping a problem in the bud and more deflecting a specific incoming disaster.

A microscope would be a nice idea, but with how she thought of it while thinking of ways to kill it, I'm guessing it's not that.

Man, why couldn't she just be like "hey, any of you assholes seem muddy water before? You mix the dirt and water and it looks like a colored liquid, but it's just water and dirt, that's basically what blood is but it's red. And now we've gotta get the bad dirt out"

Wouldn't just going for penicillium or any other super powerful and natural bacteria killer be easier for her ?...
Find some mushroom nerds to prove your point first, then go straight to the synthesis of sulfanilamid or something similar. If she really was an expert in her previous life, this kind of easy synthesis process should take her a few days at most, and that's something you can teach anyone afterward.
Bacteria with resistance wouldn't exist, so any generic antibiotic would do as a stopgap measure.

While she's at it, go and craft a microscope. The concept isn't hard, a simple one will do, so just give the concept to any skilled craftman in the capital. Heck you can even teach them to do a proper mirror if they don't have the technology.

There are dozens of ways to explain the concept to a fairly intelligent, but not knowlegeable person. MC is a total idiot to go for the scientific explanation when it is totally unnecessary. But, of course, PLOT needs to happen. Shame it has to happen through such a stupid contrivance.

I don't know, I get the feeling she didn't try very hard to explain about blood. There's the stupidly simple solution of bringing in 3 cups of water, adding salt into one, adding sand into another, and asking them whether the water inside could still flow.

With a bit of effort, the cup of saltwater could be used to make them learn the technique....

Couldn't she just had one of them pour their mana in a patients bloodstream and while they're doing that, treat the patient so that they can understand what she's doing?

@MCX01 Didn't they establish earlier that her magic caused blood vessels to glow? In any case, this is the standard "we need to make the characters in this world into look like idiots" trope for the isekai MC to look better. I kind of wish they didn't go down this route, as magic is a theoretical game changer for how a society would develop, especially since the healing magic is noted as being fairly limited and a lot of modern knowledge was based on things that were tested out long before modern science came to be. Particularly when it came to the human body; there were a lot of inhumane experiments done concerning the brain stretching as far back as Rome, iirc. Not to mention diseases that might take advantage of magic, depending on the origin magic has.

You guys, isn't she a nurse?
Microscope and antibiotics?
She was never said to have learned any of those. Even if she was a nurse for a very long time she couldn't have had first hand experience in making home made antibiotics and microscopes unless she is a nurse researcher but on the flash back she was a full on hospital staff.
maybe that's why author just used magic as it is the safest way he/she could write a solution.
