I'm thankful, I am... but even letting it build up doesn't quite work out when it's only 0.1 chapters every month or every few months.
Definitely enjoying this series, but I'll tap out at this point. Non-sarcastic thanks to the spoilers and stuff, I feel a bit safer in letting my grandkids know about the series so they'll be able to read the 5-10 chapters released by then. They can catch me up to see what I missed, manga-wise, over the 30-40 year period so we can see if anything changes in the comic vs the novel.

Because their society is mostly built on it.
The king got the magic stone from a dungeon and is keeping himself alive with "blood"/mana sacrifices of slaves. Keeps the environment around in check by using it and mana poisoning any oppositions land and enslaving the people. They can easily enslave because the king uses the stone to buff the abilities of the armies. And that's how you get a tyrannical country with very deranged people in high positions.

He have no idea but his actions like deflecting cause some chaos. Just mere wishing cause some changes. He would learn about it after the king's death, the civil war that happen and even further . Even then it is passing knowledge. He only known when a certain fact is revealed.

Thanks for the TL but I really think "cook" was a bad choice at page 2, it made the whole interaction feel off.
I'd gone with "how should we deal with" instead of "how should we cook".
I find cook to be a seriously bad and more often than not an inadequate and inaccurate slang word.

there were some who were afraid of the forest, i think? they seemed to be set up as the people who would be shocked when the MC walked out and told them who he was, and demanded peace.

What? No, it's perfectly fine. They're listing off things they could do to a wild animal after killing it. Cooking it, using its hide for leather/a coat, etc. It's showing them as unruly knights joking around, showing disrespect to the ruler of the forest by just treating it like a wild animal to be hunted. It jumps from "how do we cook it" to "we should skin it" because neither thing is actually part of the plan, it's knights who just have their own ideas on what to do with the corpse, but the conversation flows exactly as it should.

Shame there aren't otaku investors throwing money at specific publications to be like "we only get once a month updates, don't split the chapters/make each update at least 35 pages" or so, tho other than the team specifically dragging out so you go back for years (wonder if there's a physical print unless it's all going to the novel or so), tho unless something happens to the mangaka it's probably a good deal on their end versus strict weekly deadlines, or maybe the author is doing other series and we don't know about it, since the 'daily' kinda comics are those cutesy one page or 4koma ones in a more 'simplistic artstyle' like about the big bees ones, and i've seen some mostly daily webcomics on the western side but those are also a hobby if not side hustle from an artist
