Well we know there are three rooms in the house, Tohru had her own room. The joke is this chspter is giving the smaller room of Kanna and Ilulu to Shin and them taking Tohrus room because she rarely uses it. I think she's shown to only get 4 hours of sleep in a guide book but doesn't need it.

Holy crap Tohru made an entire pocket demonstration?! With a F@king other planet in it!? She’s THAT strong now!

also correct me if I’m wrong but I thought Shin was a she. I understand there more of a thay with the hole “It changed every time I peeked” joke witch I interpreted as them being kind of like a fetus who’s not developed a gender yet. Since Kobayashi’ basically pregnant with them.
But I believe in Japanese they refer to Shin as a girl and Shinji as a boy but I 100% could be wrong about that. Please correct me if I am.
Especially since Shinji has a physical body and Shin doesn’t.
I just figured Shinji chose to be the boy and Shin chose to be the girl.
In chapter 163, they talk about how clashes between top tier dragons turn into stars, so the planet thing really isn't far fetched lol.
Also, I always thought of them as both male, Shin just isn't quite as masculine as Shinji because he is much younger than him and doesn't have as much existential Prescence, as Petla tells Shin in this chapter.

In Chapter 116 here, Shin and Tohru check. Apparently Shin switches sexes every time they looked. So, Shin is either at any given time.

Thats what I was quoting with the “it changed every time I peeked” line. I guess since the translators always referred to Shinji as he and Shin an she in the previous chapters I just assumed when Shinji got a body they became a guy and so Shin decided to be a girl to help distinguish them.

Reminder that, as was demonstrated in an earlier chapter with Iruru, those massive boobs are actually her flame sacs (chap 187, page 9).

I also haven't seen the Japanese chapters so I can't say for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if neither masculine nor feminine references were ever used for Shin, since it's easier to do that in Japanese. With such ambiguous characters scanslators tend to pick a "he" or "she" and only change it if it's officially confirmed the other one is correct; if that doesn't happen (ie. confirmed the pick was correct, confirmed neither is correct, never confirmed at all) then they continue with their first pick.

With Shinji it's more straight forward as he thought he was Loki at first and the "real" Loki is a he.

Get yourself a girl who'll create an extra-dimensional realm filled with statues and artworks devoted to your very being

Yeah I was going to say Loki's "default form" was a he since he could shapeshift at will, sex included, but I thought that would complicate things.

Was also going to note Loki-Shinji also did the "changes every time they check" thing but that could've also been foreshadowing that he was really a sword like Shin, probably one of the clues Kobayashi used to figure it out before she made the big declaration at before the climax of the fight with him.

The way I interpret it is that Shinji has more personality from Loki's fragment being in him, so he naturally veered toward that, while Shin was purely a sword and swords don't have genders. As he (for simplicity's sake) develops, a distinction may form or not. Currently Shin is a sentient sword in being and mind.
