As soon as he bites back even a little she goes into woe-is-me mode and he's forced to reinforce her self-esteem before she kills herself. He should get out of this relationship ASAP, and not let her next woe-is-me outburst push him back in, otherwise we might be looking at a psychological thriller disguised as a romcom SoL. Which... I wouldn't be against, to be honest.

I haven't read work by this mangaka before so I don't know if they'll actually explore that, and keep their relationship either strictly platonic or atleast one-sided?
