That would probably have the opposite effect: if somebody took such measures on a unknown ruin, it means that what's inside is valuable enough to risk making such "noise". It would be better to map the ruin ASAP, strip bare the ruins closest to all but the most unassuming of the entrances and discreetly hide with rubble and/or wrecks the true extent of the ruins.

Not entirely sure about that. At first I thought of the one you mention, Neila, so I returned to previous chapters. She's not, but they look pretty similar. Maybe a previous contact of her, I guess.

It's cool that they show that Akira would've died multiple times by now without alpha's support, but it's kind of a nothing burger, there's nothing on the line in the case he fails, I guess that's one of the points of these kinds of stories but without interesting side characters to see struggle the story becomes monotone.
