I'm confused. Chapter 60 ends with the giant snake actively chasing them, and then chapter 61 starts with the merchant guy thanking the mc for saving him. That's a really weird scene for them to just completely skip, not showing how they managed to escape from that giant snake.

Chapter 60 ended with a bunch of vehicles leaving it in the dust. Note how Akira isn't shooting, so it might be because it's out of weapon range already. No dogs surrounding them either.
Admittedly the text on the side doesn't give that impression.

He has the same gaze as Alpha and the other old world holos, so I assumed this was intended to show this connection and indicate that his view of the world was no longer quite his own.

Aw yeah, Shikarabe is back. Liked that guy back in the earlier chapters, even if he was somewhat a jerk. Hopefully he isn't trying to pull one over our boy.

The manga follows the LN, it's basically a 1:1 at this point, i think volume 3 part 2

Why did the Author have to have the LN named horribly, should of just made it volume 4, then current raw LN volume 10 instead of 8.
