Still not sure about the whole Haruto thing, and how its a little bit forced for him to be Mahoro's rebound, but the story reaching its supposed conclusion soon it would wrap things up in a neat little bow and give Mahoro some happiness at the end of this ordeal.

It was pretty on screen. From them stalking the cheaters together up to the party, Haruto showed exceptional care for Mahoro and Momoka pushed her to think of him as an option.

Looks like I'm in the minority here, but I don't mind the subromance plot. It's not sudden, it's been hinted a lot when he was on screen, but it's also not in your face. Also, Haruto shows that he isn't just going after Mahoro now that she's going to get divorced, as shown by him stopping himself in holding her hand in the train. It shows that Haruto is concerned about Mahoro and not just glad that she's now available.
