For as well as this series has handled the aspect of "slow life," I must admit I feel kind of cheated here...
First, I
was hoping he'd make that around the horn trip to the Golden Land, and at least pay visit to the other territories. That didn't happen,
but we got a set up for solving a millennia-spanning conflict with Oni on the island of Totally-Not-Japan!
Nope, now we pick up the story hundreds of miles away out to sea. OK, we'll shelve that conflict for later, closer towards Ragnarok and/or Armageddon. There's now a
new mystery of this colony of Sprites and the symbiotic relationship with the island's human inhabitants.
"On second thought, let's not go to Camelot. 'Tis a silly place."
I can't believe they named a country "Scrotum"...
To say nothing out the island being one letter shift away from being "Badmood."
