Man, I was hoping to see if we got any mention of Nonna this chapter as he traveled but it seems like she probably won't be mentioned going forward.
You can see that he's sending letters to Nonna and Kaushman on page 28. Bear in mind, by this point, both of them aren't too far off from how old Kaeha has grown by her passing.Man, I was hoping to see if we got any mention of Nonna this chapter as he traveled but it seems like she probably won't be mentioned going forward.
I just keep thinking of a giant salt flat, but maybe it could be a thermal vent that creates a giant hot spring with mineral (calcium \ limestone) loaded water. Her request about the White Lake...it's ominous.
I thought of a frozen lake, but Salt Flat actually sounds better.I just keep thinking of a giant salt flat, but maybe it could be a thermal vent that creates a giant hot spring with mineral (calcium \ limestone) loaded water.
I had to go back, and that was basically a "blink and you miss it" event. This chapter threw me off because the main story line we were given about the water spirit was in regards to the enslaved elves. That town with the well, the event was at the beginning of chapter six. It didn't even get a full page, yet it had this much impact.
It's the kind of series where using a time skip is not just workable, but enhances the narrative.I really just can't get enough of how well this series deals with the passing of time.
I was "fortunate" enough to start somewhere after the previous chapter had posted; and boy, bingeing starting from 1 and ending on 22 really left a strong impact. It's getting better and better each chapter passed, but I really want to have more chapter than one update a month
