Bro, imagine you reincarnated to other world and thought you can use our world knowledge in that world, and realized how useless that knowledge is.

Because you cannot use it, doesn't even remember the step, and dumb enough to say that you are invisible. Maybe other world already done it but with different approach and much efficiently than us, considering that they have a thing call "magic", maybe their world war much more cruel, horrifying and even damaging than us.

(Maybe if you remember how nuclear work and step to make it, and maybe you remember tactics that our world create and use in world war. Maybe then you can be useful.

I know some of you gonna say "what a nerd🤓" toward me and I don't even care, except you gonna give me your opinion and thought, on how can our world technology would work or much damaging can it be)
Nuclear physics is notoriously hard to put into practice despite its theory being relatively simpler than other branches of physics.
Even jf you understood theory, theres still a billion caution step you must take.

Also for tactics, WW1 tactics is basically camping out until your enemies are bombed or gased to death or till tanks come out. But I highly doubt tanks would exist since artillery in this world is hella mobile and as previously mentioned in chapter 1, there's various forms of magic bullets as well.

At most he could probably put the enemy spotting skill into use, but I doubt he's as good as the commanders

I guess there's also the question: what other magic is there?
earth magic to create trenches, or wind magic for communication?

there's also the nom-watfare stuff, can the land be restored after war ends? are there reasons that allow for extreme actions that magic could "fix" that would be harder on our world? (like biological warfare having viability/ethical reasons to exist because something counteracts/repairs it.
Ethics would be a fucking nightmare since fire traps exist. And its not like medics are common in this world too.

Who is this random soldier anyway?
Salsa? So far just a random solider that we've seen acting vaguely pathetic and anxious... or depending on your PoV, sane. (Like it is a War zone, if you're not anxious and fearful about getting killed, it's because you've supressed or killed a piece of yourself. OTOH, that's what you need to do to survive a warzone.)

What fps skills can bring:
  • Player is already used to fast paced kill or be killed action. Yes, there are limits to that, but it's better than not having that experience at all. For the other soldiers, the first time into an active battlefield is a shock.
  • Player is used to positioning, sneaking, evading, sniping.

But for MC the combat stuff is of limited use since she's a loli healer. The battlefield positioning and awareness will still help, but that's about it.

Also, game sniping and IRL sniping are very different. Video Game sniping is much faster, done solo, but also more easily counterplayed(Because, hey, game, you want more interesting play patterns than trying to take out the long range spoters and/or cameras giving them numbers so they can literally calculate the perfect shot without even seeing the target themselves a lot of the time.)

mc is not the first idiot to think that games and war are similar

1- no they aren't is not the same being behind a screen that being on the field, with the smells, noises, explosions, yells.
2-used to positioning in game maps designed to have places for sneaking, sniping, etc.

Even just the load of the equipment is something that will not let the gamer "move or act" as he wants, plus if like the mc, the gamer is just a foot soldier, it just needs his immediate leader to make a bad decision to send the gamer to an earlier grave.

(Maybe if you remember how nuclear work and step to make it, and maybe you remember tactics that our world create and use in world war. Maybe then you can be useful.
Probably would die from radiation poisoning even before being able to refine the material needed for nuclear work.

I really hope that MC wouldn't get involved in any stupid romance. Stupid as in making MC do stupid things.

What was even the point of emphasising that she was a 'gamer' in her previous life if none of it's applicable here?
No aim or tactics that she's learned from her previous life? No skills whatsoever? Why talk about her previous life if it's pointless, because it doesn't even feel like flavour text, it's just meaningless.

Also, why is every 'modern army' in these isekai stories so influenced by the Germans? Do you need to copy Tanya the Evil's homework that much?

At best they would have really good reaction time but the problem is that you wouldn't have the physical ability to make use of that reaction speed.

Well, maybe they emphasize gamer thingy to show the difference and the cruelty or war? I don't know. Being a pro player in Apex or Valo won't help, but being pro in War Simulator games like Post Scriptum or Squad might help a bit.

As for why it's always the Germans? A friend of mine said most of the younger people in Japan found Germany (especially older ones like German empire) to be cool and amazing. As for why? I don't know, people have different preferences
