only on paper because in reality woman above 21yo stop having sexual activity for good.so it's a village full of swingers. i guess the mc never noticed it since his parents were dead and he was living alone.
I guess there is some circumstances inwhich the relationship in that couple is not so good. This shit is so fucking stupid, a tad gross too.
Like, why is Shizuko being so pushy about Ceres screwing his adoptive brother’s wife?
He says no like 20 fucking times, but she’s like “do it though”. Is it her kink or something?
And oh okay, NTR is actually socially acceptable in this universe if you do it between 9-5 at night on a Saturday, while wearing bunny slippers or some shit.
Sure, we’ll go with that, wouldn’t want anyone to think our hero is only slightly less of a lecherous scumbag than Shizuko’s ex.
I don’t really mind NTR so much when the other guy deserves it, but damn, back stabbing your best bud (oh but it’s technically fine in-universe of course) like that? Ceres deserves to have his finger nails peeled off as far as I’m concerned.
Shizuko getting bent over was hot though, 10/10 chapter.
Interesting this explain a lot. It was a very common manga/anime trope in the past, and even i was kinda weirded out by it. Men would literally try to rape women in their sleep, and this was supposed to be a comedy moment? To most westners here that are weirded out, Yobai is a thing that was more or less culturelly accepted in ancient Japan as weird as it sounds.
It was quite a weird accepted culture that resulted in many marriages and such.
This of course faded out but when I saw this in the Web Novel I was "wtf" than I started reading about this, If you ask me, totally explains that weirdest trend in anime that I never understood where it came from, that if a guy and a girl sleeps in the same room, SOMETHING SHOULD happen... pretty sure this kind ot culture was the origin.
Funny enough there was similar kind of culture in anxient Europe too..... mostly for dominated places towards the owner of the region but still XD.
Anyway it is just an interesting pieces of culture I never knew about Japan.... but yeah I wish it wasnt on the story, from here on gets a bit weird XD
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yobai#:~:text=Yobai (Japanese: 夜這い, ",even into the 20th century.
From what i've seen from manga is supposed to be more aggressive than that. Basically borderline rape. Also, Yobai is really strange, you interrupt others person sleep and ask to fuck them? I expect this to be rare because I don't know how this could work
One or a couple chapters ago she mentioned she wanted to share her happiness with her friends and then all of them were shown to be unhappily working at their husbands' stores or house or whatever.i see it kinda strange for his wife to recommend him to 'steal' or even make the move in the first place, guess i'm just not into swinger kind of story.
Do you mean... our own world? This is not made up for the story.WTF with this world....
So u can steal another women's guys 'fairly'. '-'
The implication here is that they could have a legal night meeting where MC can confess and win her over, provided she consents, after which she can choose to divorce her soon-to-be-ex to be with the MC.Yobai (Japanese: 夜這い, "night crawling") was an ancient Japanese custom usually practiced by young unmarried men and women. It was once common all over Japan and was practiced in some rural areas until the beginning of the Meiji era and even into the 20th century.[10]
At night, young unmarried men would silently enter houses with young unmarried women. A man would silently crawl into a woman's room and make his intentions known. If the woman consented, they would sleep together. By the morning he would leave.[1][2] The girl's family might know about it, but pretend they did not.[2] It was common for young people to find a spouse like this.[1][3]
According to ethnologist Akamatsu Keisuke, the practice varied from place to place. In some places, any post-puberty woman, married or unmarried, could be visited by any post-puberty man, married or unmarried, from the village and even by men from other villages and travellers. In other places, only married women and widows could be visited, while single girls could not. And there were variations; for example, the "closed type" yobai was a custom in which only men from the same village had the right of visitation.[8]
There’s no way in hell it was a total surprise even most of the time, I mean how else would the target of the intruding party’s affection be picked unless they had already met prior? This night crawling shit is such an insane concept.
Even if everything is okay as long as two people consents, that still leaves so many oddities and implications.
Such as how do you sneak into another person's room? I'm guessing this is during the hut ages and no doors. And regarding the implications, I will just supppse all Japanese men are honorable and would leave blue balled if the lady is deep asleep or somehow not angry at him for waking her and says no.
Not NTR, you will find out why next chapterThanks for the TL. NTR? I don't mind, but, is her husband a douche or something?
