They also basically own a cat together (a cat that can take on a dragon mind you), and just go about their lives living as they always have, adventuring, murdering enemies, saving people, spending time with their cat (fighting impossibly strong things). You know, normal yuri couple things.

Always nice to revisit old characters that helped your journey out. A lot of stories always go so ham in one direction (glory/gods) that the side characters like these never show up again and removed from all lore, maybe at most only mentions.

Just dont think about it too much.

It's a common pitfall with LN authors, they make super capable characters but make them really young to hammer in that they're a prodigy or something.

The manga artist is doing a good (or bad, depending on how you feel about it) job of making Aria not feel like a child. I genuinely forgot that she's still 9 years old up until today.

Yeah, I am not faulting the manga artist, the issue lies in the novel. The manga artists at least doesn't give her more curves than he absolutely has to based on the source material description.

Even if the novel author wants to push the prodigy image (and therefore makes her as young as possible) and highlight her beauty, he could have at least toned down the lustful and rapey comments directed at his heroine.

Well, I have complained enough. Besides this aspect I am enjoying both novel and manga very much.
