It's funny since it's more in line with the serialized take on children of spirits than the early chapters of this version. Kamejiro was probably still playing around with ideas. 2 chapters left.

I could see the knight captain returning as one of the few sensible characters concerned for Natalia. His absence so far could simply be that narratively, there hasn't been much external threat yet, and thematically, he'd interfere with the sense of overwhelming loneliness and pressure on...

Worth noting that, in this version, Sara intentionally went to take Sylpheed. She wasn't tricked into it, Natalia wasn't in immediate danger, and it wasn't life or death for Sara, though she was happy to die if the sword killed her.

I think you only see it in the Snake Princess character sheet still on the main series page (which I'll delete and re-upload here once the story is finished). but there's at least one more I haven't translated yet. Basically in all timelines Snake Princess winds up loving Sara.

I'm not sure this scene can survive exactly into the serialization, or at least, we might be passing an equivalent of it with Sara telling both princesses her story and them all being on the same page. Snake Princess's dynamic is pretty different: here she's more playful and aloof while willing...

The sepal is the green covering for a closed flower/support for a blooming flower. Probably a lesser known part of flower anatomy.

There's echoes of this chapter in serialized ch7, with Natalia accepting Sara did trick her and still choosing to trust her. One of my favorite scenes in the serialized version so far, the way it's framed with Natalia shutting her eyes as she slowly accepts the truth. This chapter also has one...

I don't like making promises but I plan to. It should be easier; volume 1 took a long time because of all the SFX I skipped. Volume 2 releases on the 26th.

I would say all this falls into the "prisoner of fate" category and isn't necessarily a flaw or personal consequence of Sara's, but you're starting to see the more dangerous sides of her personality and if it's anything like the original those will result in very real failures of hers later...
