min mingzhe basically told story!su luxia to go kill herself and if that’s not worthy of punishment then y’all need to reconsider your worldviews 🙄 there’s also the fact that he didn’t do a n y t h i n g when su luxia was getting bullied by that pu girl and her groupies. I wouldn’t ask him to intervene directly, but he didn’t even call a teacher bruh!! mingzhe knows his words has weight to them (as heir to the min family), but he just stands aside and lets an innocent girl get bullied by this mean and delirious chick.

complacency is just the same as endorsement yo. he let su get bullied because he couldn’t give a fuck. and he didn’t even feel bad about it. he’s not a stupid HS student. he’s just callous, cold, and cruel. mingzhe’s ending is well-deserved imo

Remember, the pen IS mightier than the sword, just look at the magic pencil from spongebob, you are able to create life, control it, mold it to your will, and your creations are subjugated by your command.

Truly, the author of CMMD is one of our world's top philosophers that is sending a deep message about the society that we live in (insert joker makeup here) /s

But on a more serious note, sometimes i am really weirded out with some of the plots some stories have, not even porn has stories that extravagant.

@Darkmint13 You do realize that the "original" Su Luxia from the novel this male lead was in... died, right? Whether it was do to the Male Lead not accepting her or the bullying from the Female Lead.. it led to her death. I mean, she committed suicide.

I think you have a different understanding about what happens to the females that Su Luxia "takes over" --- the "original" Su Luxias from the worlds the MC goes into are no more. So, whatever happens to them when we first learn about them, stays happened to them.. and that doesn't change even when the MC goes back in time and "takes over them" .

This manhwa is shading authors of trashy novels 🤣🤣🤣

I kinda sympathized with Mingzhe tho 😣 I feel that his punishment is the harshest even compare to the cheating husband who beat his wife in the last arc... He was punished mentally and emotionally thus like original Su Lu Xia, he committed suicide.. I know that he's one of the reasons why original died but he still young, I bet even the bullies and Pu girl got more lighter punishment for this 😣

@Kuroageha That's why I said he deserved some punishment but what really drove her to suicide (OR at least what it seemed like to me) was the bullying from Pu and practically the whole school as well as being unable to go for help from authority figures. If you remember, the teachers and principal were on Pu's side. She was boxed in with no hope of escape.
Min does deserve punishment. That is definite but I think being driven to possible suicide (yes he's taking sleeping pills now but you can't tell me that not sleeping well along with other things isn't going to drive him to suicide) isn't a suitable one.

If you go back and look at the other stories, the other male leads essentially killed/punished themselves with their own decisions. Drinking themselves to death, marrying someone they didn't like etc etc but they choose to go down that path without her direct interference.

BUT in this one Luxia went a step further and actually erased everyone's memory. She could have left everyone's memory intact and I'm sure people would still want him to give up on a missing girl but instead she makes it look like he's crazy. She forcibly boxed him in and didn't allow him any escape.
I'm just saying it felt like she went further than was needed. But I understand if you don't feel that way.

I'll still keep reading. Just wished this one felt more deserved.

In the end, he didn't truly understand. It's not satisfying. Yes, he did get to experience what he he had inflicted on another, but he doesn't understand WHY. I think this happened with the movie start arc too- blondie just died while still having an entitled mentality. To be fair, I think blondie was a lost cause- it is very realistic to show that some people will never understand. But with Min Mingzhe, he had the capacity to realize that his despair parallels the one he created for old Luxia, but he doesn't. Of course "if he doesn't on his own, it just shows he is too hopeless", but it is Luxia's "job" to do the ass-kicking and lesson-teaching...

I'm blabbering,,, i just wanted this kid to realize "oh, so this is what I've done..." and then, like, die off beautifully or something smh
This series often ends arcs unsatisfyingly for me, but it's fun!

To be honest... I feel like this will be one of the bitterest endings of this manhwa...
I mean, I get that the original Su Lu Xia went through the same thing, but... this just leaves a bad taste...
I felt pity for him because the original Su Lu Xia didn't go so far in taking drugs, did she? Just depression, I guess...
Just like someone else said, he had room for growth, but... didn't happen...
The story's amazing, but this part may have taken it a BIT too far...

@ROOR21ROO Yup. Tired of those. I hate that so much shoujo aimed at 13+ girls are like it's totally cool if the guy treats you ugly if you just love him hard enough he'll change .1% and you get Happily ever after! Yay!

Haven't read any of the vice versa but that's terrible that they're out there. No one should be treated ugly by the person they love.

@codydub03 I completely understand. Doesn't change my opinion on his punishment.

I'm not saying he doesn't deserve punishment. I'm saying the punishment was excessive.

Why is his punishment worse than the people who beat her ever day and threatened her family OR the teachers and principal who should have protected her?

Either way I'm not trying to change anyone's mind. I was just stating my feelings and that was all. It's not like me being disappointed is gonna change anything. I don't have a talking hamster.

I'm not sure how you feel but I do enjoy discussing these things with other fans of the series. It feels to good to talk to people passionate about the series. :)

i need more of the "Small Shady House of Bastards" chat screenshots 😂

also it felt like this arc ended pretty early! though that might be because the previous one was a LONG crawl. i actually liked the previous arc better than this one, though seeing xiozhen beat up early on in the arc was pretty satisfying. can't wait to see what's up next!

I glad she didn't go back and forgive him or save him from his depression. And Ive never thought the authors needed to be punished they don't know their stories are real or that someone from the real world gets transported and suffers. But that's in normal stories where the villain is evil and deserves it, these cheating characters are complete trash and they're the heroes that end up living good lives at the cost of someone innocent, who's demanding that genre ?
