It took a week for him to no longer need treatment. Think of an infection, you don't take an antibiotic once and it goes away, you need to regularly take it until you are cured. Meaning that for a week Lucoa gave him the succ.

I see, so the holy sword is inside Kobayashi and served as the container for all that mana she used. That was actually a really subtle way to introduce the idea.
...but of course Cool-sensei needs to ruin it with his Shota-eater fetish. Appreciate the variety of pairings and themes, but this was always the worst part about the manga.
