I know the dad is just worried about his daughter, thus being rash and hot-headed to find her but LOL for getting his ass handed over to him. He has 2 big ears but can't even spare a second to listen.

P.S. Aside from the Donkey's Dragon Wife (from Shrek), Lefi also reminds me of Rys from the Lv.2 Cheat LN/Manga/Anime (especially now that it aired this season). She's almost like the loli version of Rys.

Yes, the manga has frustratingly decided to start and end this part of Lew's personal arc really fast... but that's sort of how it happened in the LN, too. There was some brief discussion/discovery, then a plan to visit her home later, then the dad and his merry men show up and get their butts handed to them, then the meeting between father and daughter.

Honestly, the only thing missing is Yuki's perspective thoughts as he's dealing with how dense the wolves are. The LN is sometimes paced using Yuki's thoughts, this was one of those times. But in terms of events, other characters' perspectives and such, not much was left out; it felt too short in the LN, too.

That said, there should be more details filled in in the next chapter. This is only the first part of the meeting.
