About Tigur's tribe... they're like aggro creatures in game who attack anyone approaching their territory. So, they had it coming.

Serena's narration is supposed to be longer... well, the core idea is the same.
My favourite is when she asks Tigur, does the people captured him, or the slave traders, ever say "killing is bad".
Of course they don't, because those soldiers kill people, and they put their life in the line.

Also... clarifying page 11... what she meant is, when the people they said it to (such as the children in slum) is in danger, the people saying "killing is bad" won't be there to help.

...the LN doesn't mention about Rick wanting to put Tigur to work. He just say Serena picked the boy, so he's hers to take care of.

I think the author tried too hard to squeeze a male ally character into the story.

Yes, this story needs one, yes this will make the story a bit more interesting, but even Serena herself doesn't know why she brought the kid home. She just randomly, in a dungeon with multiple children, picked this one guy and decided to take him home without a single conversation yet.

It's kind of odd.

Ive hoped the male character would change her ideals a little bit, but it looks like the opposite will happen.. Yes self defense is fine but not outright emotionless murder.

Killing mostly happens off-screen in later chapters. She only do assassination as job, and practicing in case she will need to fight threats. But as a duke's daughter, most problem can be solved by talk, or just ignoring it entirely, especially because she got the higher ground with her status. While she doesn't bully people, she still is in the position to warn her peers about their attitude.
There are time she thought of just killing the nuisance, but she held back as the reward is not that big to justify it.

And yes, there's not much growth. It's really just going from one scene to another.
Anyway, for those who don't want to bother anymore, here's a point list of the events until the end.
As I mentioned, the story just want to have the main characters act in these scenes, so don't put too much hope of deep thoughts. That's a lot of scenes to put in a one-shot.

Did you read the LN in JP or from a fanTL of LN/WN? I can't seem to find either WN/LN fanTLs anywhere.

Wow. She continues to surprise me with how strikingly amoral she is. I don't think a single character has been a good person so far.

Except maybe the kid she just rescued.

she is immoral not amoral. Those who ENJOY KILLING are immoral. She is that type.
