Someone is going to have to spoil me if the Oni really do brutalize women they kidnap.

Because it will completely reframe this story how I interpret this arc.

Man I was excited about the tree and how they will draw that huge ass root suddenly move to aesir and lift him up but well it was easier this way so I won't complain further thought if I remember right from the ln
so as the guy mention yeah the fruit is a big deal since they can extend a lifespan of a person but in the end he never eat the fruit and dies when aesir come down and meet the mermaid they talk a bit then after finalizing his work with the blacksmith he goes back

Dunno where you read that part, but he only visited the tree for a few days, then went straight back to Ancient Gold Empire afterward.
The main purpose of giving Mizuho the fruit is for them to have children together, as at the current age Gon is totally out of date lol. Since he never sees them again, we only get the confirmation from another merfolk (after one or two centuries) that Mizuho "lived a happy life thank to him."

I still love the non-human and more mythical characters losing their shit over Aesir being Aesir and the humans losing their shit once they realize just how powerful of a being Aesir is.

I really like the ending portion. Both the sentient tree (whose like such a chill bro; I want that tree to be a permanent recurring character) and the Titan. Specifically because the Titan is such an interesting contrast to Aesir. Both exist in literally completely different walks of life to humans and various other mortal specieies (and some immortal for the Titan) and exist beyond their conflicts. Whereas the Titan looks upon them with optimism and dreams of growth like a parent seeing children make mistakes and hoping that learning from them leads to growth, Aesir tries to walk among them. Even if he will never be equal to them, he still wants to treat them as equals. Beyond that he wants to learn from them and grow alongside. And when conflicts have gotten out of confrol, he helps them resolve the situation.

So very different and yet such a similar vibe

Edit: okay im going crazy this post is borked but i got the image finally to appear
The reason why your imgur-linked image failed to appear would probably be due to you trying to use the gallery link...
Code:
https://imgur.com/a/x9kmbj4
...instead of a direct link to the image.
Code:
https://i.imgur.com/75KyaCG.png
Image embed with the former (tags added manually):
x9kmbj4

And with the latter:

You can (apparently) also do a full-on gallery embedding by just adding the url to the post as-is (i.e. like the first embed attempt, but without adding the img tags), like so:

I read the novels ahead since I really just wanted more after reading the manga. It just keeps getting better!
For anyone curious the manga is currently halfway through volume 4 of the LN. Also the official translation of the 8th and last volume is set to be finished this October.

Still a joy to read the manga though! Kinda sad to see some missed details about how the tree picked him up but maybe we'll see more of it in the next chapter.
