whats a church boy doing here? coming to beg for his familys money back? @OraOraApril19@Xeredge iirc, van i think is the son of the archbishop that tried to have the fmc excommunicated
Church dude, and one of the "capture targets" from the main game.
from what I remember from the WN, he and the idiot prince are pretty much irredeemable, whereas the knight slightly redeems himself. My memory is fuzzy tbh
Normally if you have tariffs raised against you, you will respond with equal tariffs. Of course it would be better for the province to get rid of them, but for the time being she should set some, of course for goods that would hurt the opponent.
@Karakuri1812 That son of one of the high ranking church people that got dunked on a while back, who pretty much lost everything that made him valuable to the "heroine" so she tossed him aside like garbage. Looks like he's showing up to beg for scraps from the "villainess" now or something.
But as it seems like her fief is the only one undergoing this radical shift in developement, meaning that there are mpst likely no higher quality goods, that the other fiefs are exporting. Also the other fief is more or less next to the capital and has no need to cross her territory exept for Sea trade, which at that time seems to only be a fraction of its potential
@Lessen Yeah, if there are no suitable goods moving from the other fiefs into hers, it's naturally impossible. If there were some but taxing them would hurt her own people/industry too much, they would also be out of the question. In any case, the chosen method of circumventing the tariffs is effective as long as it can last. Unless the opponents are idiots, they will notice it sooner or later. Just like the USA noticed Huawei selling restricted stuff to Iran via some phoney companies.
