That was refreshing. Instantly dismantling all the bullshit little sister was spewing out. Really nice to see her bathing in the mud, but this will probably backfire because of her shitty mother. The mother didn't even try to involve herself into this, like she doesn't want the responsibility to actually raise her kids.

SPLASH! That was satisfying to see. I wonder how the mother will react? I can see Serena getting even more isolated within the house by this but it's good she didn't just quietly accept the blame either. The mother is deplorable though.

I really feel sorry for the father at this point. He's off working his butt off for them and the country and there is wife pretty much neglecting his actual daughter and playing favourites with the replacement he didn't even agree to take in.

Can't wait for more.

I enjoyed that too. Usually there isn't much of a comeback from this stuff early on, it's just further orchestration, but here even if that still happens she didn't even get phrased much.
But girl didn't hesitate to throw her sister into the gutter when she stepped on her trigger.

This is an adult in a child's body? This is how an adult deals with a child's tantrum? This drama is so forced, all she had to do is to say that she doesn't see her as inferior, boom no more drama with little sister.
Did you really read from the start? Not that I'm defending this forced bullshit but I can at least justify MCs act.
Firstly, she wasn't adult, she was teenager at best
Secondary, she never had any decent social skills
Thirdly, she's quite irritated because of her sisters shitty personality
Fourthly, she reminded her of days when MC actually was struggling to survive, without eating for days, while accusing MC being royalty and having easy life, sister didn't even once experience it herself. How do we know? At first encounter she had normal clothes, giant god damn dog and no trace of starvation ect

Why am I trying to justify it? Answer is simple. This was so satisfying that I at least have motivation to look into her actions.
Hope shitty mother will be sent elsewhere with disrespectful maids and little spoiled brat. This little idiot had everything in her hands to become someone important or at least not some embarrassment. Education, loving mother and maids, if she really was struggling with her live in the past, she would be taking every bit of knowledge and influence she could get, but nah, as long as we can see, she was a mare commoner of a middle status that got the chance to become royalty surrounded by welth and love, she become much more spoiled then she was at the beginning... I guess mother is as guilty as her shitty adopted kid. Hope father will send them away to not embarrass the family

There's only 2 full chapters out and you forget the details? At best MC is a teenager likely based off the drawings she was 11-13 range before dying.

To add on what the other person said before, problems between kids are very rarely solved by talking. People might not want to accept it, but violence is a very valid solution for problems between kids

To be fair, they stomp on each other's trigger.

Serena tried to find the right answer to satisfy Rosemary and be done with it. When Rosemary accused her of being jealous, her answer is like "You think there's anything worth being jealous about you? No, I'm not jealous, nor am I picking on you" (she's much more rude in the LN). Serena's servant who was an ex-slave, even told her it's not just the content, but you need to think about how you say it. She's that bad about emotion even a slave know better.
Rosemary seems to have a lot of pride you'd think she's one of those shittier reincarnated heroine in an otome villainess work.

After pushing Rosemary to the water, her internal narration even goes like, good for you, you've learned not to drink on muddy water. As a spoiler for later, no, she doesn't learn her lesson. Rosemary tried serving mud water to Serena as tea later. Serena push her to the puddle again, right in front of her bodyguards.

In the LN, the maid is actually nameless. Marin is the maid who got most significant role later, so the manga's direction probably want to get the readers to be more familiar of her rather than just having random named character coming out of nowhere.
Rosemary told her to serve Serena a breakfast of thin soup and coarse bread, in her own room (implying she tells Serena to stay out of the dining room, and show Serena is lower than her).
After being threatened, Marin confessed it's ordered by Rosemary. But to save her own arse, Rosemary said it's all the maid's own volition, she sell out her own agent.
Marin got whipped, and Serena secretly told her it would leave mark, and nobody would take her as wife (she's not whipped so bad it would leave a lifetime scar, but Marin never got whipped so she doesn't know). If Rosemary had just admitted, Marin would get few months pay cut at worse because she is powerless to refuse order (and Rosemary likely escape with slap on the wrist). But because she did this on her own (as Rosemary claimed), she got this punishment. Also, Marin is daughter of lower ranked nobility, and yet she got backstabbed by that commoner born.
Later, Serena took Marin as her own personal maid, because as a noble, she should have a female attendant. Having just a male servant will bring bad rumour on her. She need someone she can trust and who is best than the person she saved after being betrayed by her own master.

In the bonus story, Marin did realize, the only place you can work properly in that house is under Serena, because your work is appreciated objectively. The servants working under Rosemary are too busy trying to curry favour rather than just do their job. They wouldn't be able to find job in other house because they're spoiled rotten by Amaryllis who forgive them easily, so they forget nobles normally don't try to treat commoners as equal.

Again, this proved my previous comments were right, and I never even read the WN or LN. I had the prediction from the start that Rosemary was and is a scheming little shyte who would always play victim and that the mother is a type of woman who would run away from her responsibilities as a mother and a woman, a type who hate reality when it's slapped to her face (like most women today), or in other words, a double standard type. From the very first chapter, the moment the dog attacked and the mother accused Serena of being cruel for nothing, even though she killed it for the sake of well-measured self-defense, otherwise she'd be dead, and Rosemary instead cried for nothing and accused her for whatever.
It's plenty clear that the story would be like that in the future.

Jesus the writing is horrible and the manggaka tries so hard to make MC smart by making everybody else dumb.

First the ridiculous adoption, then the mother that I think is a first human with negative IQ (the necklace situation is just stupid, they know how MC is behaving so why would they believe that she would do that) , finishing on a member of the royal family just casualy proposing the high noble 12 daughter becoming an assasing without even doing a simple background check. Even the smart MC behaves just utterly dumb as somebody say throwing sister to the mud is just stupid drama for drama and to make a plot point for story to move on.

Shame as the idea of sociopath or at least a person with repressed emotion isekai is kinda interesting.

After reading this far, I can say that the everyone is a trusting idiot, especially the MC. Sure, her mom is impractical about danger considering their family status, but she isn't exactly a bad person. Even the brat sister is just a spoiled bully who is an actual child.

Serena, however, went and murdered a family of four in cold blood because some guy told her to. She has the power and responsibility to understand the consequences of her actions, but she told her boss she didn't want to know why these people had to die. For someone who mocks her trusting family, she sure trusts that her new boss isn't manipulating her. She's just a puppet looking for a new master, morality be dammed as long as she gets to kill people.

Jesus, what a terrible person.

Rosemary is annoying. That contradiction. What a piece of trash. Acting righteous when she planned the whole thing is wild. Playing the victim to another level. Shouldn't she just be happy that she got adopted? She should still know her place since she seemed to have received education.

MC has some growing to do though and I think it's going to start with that "warm" hug. I mean I know the family she killed probably did bad things, but to not even care about the reason and just did it so her skills won't rust. Literally a target practice.
