I don't like the title drop at the end of every chapter.

the inconstancy of defensive features in this is maddening. scales do nothing or act as impenetrable armor and the second best defense in this fight is thick fur and loose skin.

As for title drop endings, by now I half miss it in those chapters when it doesn't appear (like the previous one)
