Other than that, the "hint-dropping" thing in Japanese is slang for people who "hint" at things, like showing romantic interest, trying to grab attention to something or themselves, but without actually saying it directly and expecting the other party to pick up on it. Especially on social media.

If they confess, the story ends.. Few mangaka actually write multiple chapters where the 2 love interests actually have multiple dates..
Anemone wa Netsu o Obiru did have multiple dates but Sakuragi Ren had to have other couples also follow the pattern of falling in love.. This series has solely focused on the POV of Saki and Kanon.. So it’ll be hard to have a plot, unless you bring in the former piano teacher that Saki had a crush on, previously, after the confession..

I feel like we won't get a confession next chapter, but i do think Saki is gonna come out to Kanon. Idk how Kanon will react but a confession at this point in the story, so soon after kanon realizes she likes Saki (and maybe even just girls as a whole) would feel super off w the pacing this story has had so far
